Dr. Sergiy Nesterenko was born and raised in Novomoskovsk, Ukraine. In 2002 he graduated from medical school and in 2006 finished his orthopaedic residency and clinical fellowship at Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy. In 2002 he spent three months doing clinical rotations at the University of Rochester, NY. Since 2006 he spent two years as a research fellow at Mayo Clinic, five years as an orthopaedic surgery resident at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and one year as a clinical fellow in spine surgery at Cleveland Clinic. Starting in 2014 Dr. Nesterenko has been working as an orthopaedic spine surgeon in private practice in Lubbock, Texas.
