
Oleksandra Hanchukova, Ph.D.

Oleksandra Hanchukova is an Assistant Professor in the Horst Schulze School of Hospitality Management at Auburn University (Alabama, USA). She earned her Ph.D. in Hospitality, Tourism, and Retail Management from Texas Tech University (2024). Her dissertation focused on the impact of solidarity on consumer purchasing behavior and travel intentions to a crisis-affected country, particularly in the context of Ukraine. Oleksandra’s research interests focus on the intersection of hospitality marketing, tourism, and consumer behavior, with a strong emphasis on the wine industry. She has academic and teaching experience both in Ukraine and abroad (Italy, USA: Texas, Florida, Alabama). Beyond academia, since 2022 Oleksandra has been actively engaged in the activities of the Ukrainian diaspora in the United States.
