
Bohdan Cherniawski, RN, SBStJ, CD, BScN

Bohdan is a trauma nurse and military veteran with extensive experience throughout Ukraine and Eastern Europe, focusing on health service operations and prehospital care. He has collaborated with NATO medical experts, Ukrainian military medical services, and international NGOs to advance trauma systems and emergency response, and has co-published research in the Journal of Military Medicine on medical support in large-scale conflict operations.
He has led numerous humanitarian projects throughout Eastern Europe, predominantly in Poland and Ukraine, delivering critical medical relief for displaced persons and war casualties while integrating military, clinical, and academic perspectives. A frequent lecturer and published author, including contributions to the Kyiv Post, he has been recognized internationally for advancing trauma care and strengthening transatlantic cooperation in health service delivery. He is a recipient of the Venerable Order of St John of Jerusalem for his humanitarian service and also serves on the Board of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation.
